1. Data provided by a User on registering with LG MOBILE.
a) For the maintenance and performance of LG MOBILE Services
For the performance of the Services provided by LG MOBILE it may be necessary for LG to process your personal information. Personal information will be transferred for the primary purpose for which it was collected, being for the purpose of performing the Services, for example, attributing Golds to your personal account, as well as the technical maintenance of the Website. For these purposes, personal information may be transferred to other LG group companies and third party contractors engaged to provide LG with database management services, but shall at all times remain under the strict control of LG. Furthermore, it may be necessary to provide third party access to our Website and database in the interests of maintaining a functional and secure Website. In this context, personal information may also be accessed in other countries where LG is present, including the Republic of South Korea. By accepting the Terms, the User acknowledges and consents to the transfer of personal information for the said purposes.
b) To keep User’s informed
LG values its customers, and therefore we would like to keep them informed of any new products or services that LG may introduce from time to time. Personal information may be used for this purpose, however shall not be transferred to third parties for marketing purposes unless those third parties are third party contractors engaged to provide LG with dattabase management services. .
2. Opt-out
If a User no longer wishes to be kept up to date about the LG’s products and services, the User can utilize the opt-out option by logging onto the Website as a User and modifying their details, or by clicking on the unsubscribe function at the bottom of the newsletters sent by LG from time to time.
3. Cookies
When a User visits LG MOBILE, cookies may be placed on the User’s computer. The intention of such cookies is for the convenience of the User and shall not be used to further process personal information without the User’s knowledge. For instance, on a User’s subsequent visit to LG MOBILE the cookie can ensure that the User does not need to select the User’s country of residence that is supported. 4. Accessing or updating a User’s personal information
